Kittiwake Jewellery was created by Melinda Llewdib in 2006 and only uses genuine sea glass, which has been collected by Melinda and other enthusiasts.  None of the gems have been tumbled, they are the same as when they were found on the beach.  Many of the pieces are at least a hundred years old, some are from the 15th century.   All metals used are precious, mainly sterling and solid silver.  The silver charms (fondly named silver buttons) are also individually made by Melinda.
